This is the ability, in the form of data, knowledge, and skill, we earn through experience. In the beginning, tacit capabilities appear to be very difficult to automate. However, software-centric technology is enabling us to transfer it from individuals’ to machines or systems’ abilities. We are storing experience earned knowledge and skill as a set of policies, procedures, standards, and algorithms, and making software to apply them autonomously. Consequently, the market value of experience is suffering from erosion. For this reason, already several industries have already started to replace their senior people with juniors, creating a new trend, called juniorization.
